La Crotta di Vegneron Nus Malvoisie Valle d’Aosta DOC 2019

Malvoisie is the name given to the Pinot Grigio vine when it is grown in the viticultural territory of the commune of Nus. Vine of a great character, giving to the Aosta Valley characteristics the opportunity to express themselves at their best. This wine is the perfect expression of our terroir.

Area of production: South-east, south-west and north-east facing vineyards in the municipalities of Nus, Fénis, Quart at 450/680 m a.s.l.
Soil type: Morainic, steep sloped, loose sandy soil
Varieties: 100% Nus Malvoisie
Vine training system: Guyot
Harvest: Middle of Septembe
Vinification/Ageing: In steel, at 16°C. Ageing for 6 months in steel, sur lie with frequent batonnages
Sight: Straw yellow, bright
Smell: Intense and persistent, fruity. Aromas of ripe pear, apple, honey, and English candy
Taste: The taste is full and dry, well structured, with a pleasant tasty finish
